MUMBAI, DECEMBER 22: Geoff Marsh, consultant to the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on cricket matters , on Friday made a detailed presentation to the bigwigs of the Board, on what shape the junior and domestic cricket in India should take.

Marsh, who arrived in Mumbai last week, had been watching a few local matches in order to assess the talent on hand. The former Australian coach, had also visited the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bangalore and had praised the facilities available at the academy.

Marsh had repeatedly said that his brief is to coach the coaches and prepare a path whereby all the talented players could be fast tracked for selection for the Indian team.

The presentation it is believed focussed on this area in particular.

Soon after making the presentation Marsh left for Australia to be with his family for the Christmas , he will return in mid-January to assist Indian coach John Wright at the conditioning camp prior to the Austalaian series.
