Man held for murdering brother

PUNE, Nov 8: A man allegedly murdered his younger brother at Baramati after a heated argument last evening.

The victim Vijay Popat Jadhav 25 and his elder brother Sanjay 29, were residents of Kaikade vasti Gunavadi in Baramati.Last evening, around 3 pm, the two again entered into an argument as Sanjay had alleged that the sarees bought for his wife by Vijay were stolen ones. When Vijay questioned Sanjay on his charges, the latter in a fit of rage, attacked him fatally with a sickle and fled. He was arrested by a police team at Shirsophal village later.
