NEW DELHI, April 15: Fine spell of bowling by off-spinner Satish Maggu (4 for 15), Sonu Vaid (3 for 18) and unbeaten knocks by Vishal Sharma and Shailender Kumar enabled Golden Hawks thrash Fountain Club by nine wickets to reach the pre-quarter-final of the third Lala Hari Ram Aggarwal memorial day-night tournament at MCD Sports Club.Batting first, Fountain Club were restricted to 135 in 27.4 overs. Rajesh Kumar was the top scorer. Satish Maggu and Sonu Vaid rocked the opponents by claiming four and three wickets each giving 15 and 18 runs, respectively. Kuldeep Sharma too got two wickets.Chasing the total, Golden Hawks, easily achieved the target in 16.4 overs. Vishal Sharma (50 not out) and Shailender Kumar (45 not out) were the main scorers.
