Loretta Convent High School from Chembur booked their berth in the semifinals of the MSSA-Nike Inter-School Smt K G Kalantri knock-out tournament for under-16 girls at the Mumbai Hockey Association MHA Mahindra stadium in Churchgate on Monday. And the girls weren8217;t even forced to break a sweat, as they won by virtue of a walk-over, after their opponents St Joseph High School failed to turn up.

Duruelo Convent High School 8216;A8217;and 8216;B8217;and St Theresa High School from Santacruz also progressed into the penultimate round of the competition.

Duruelo 8216;B8217;were not pushed too much in their encounter against Carmel of Joseph from Malad as they won 3-0 convincingly. Mamta Pasi struck for the victors with a brace, while Yogita Past scored the third goal for Duruelo 8216;B8217;. Bhgyashree Agarwal scored both goals for Duruelo 8216;A8217;in their 2-0 win over Bai Ave Bai Petit High School from Bandra. St Theresa also won by an identical margin against St Joseph.
