Five college friends get completely blotto on graduation day and make a bet: the happiest of them all will stake claim five years on, on the two hundred bucks that the designated one will keep safely.
At the end of the stipulated time, Dino has learnt his lessons in the way of honesty and big business. Nauheed is a top Bollywood actress who learns that sleeping her way to the top means only disaster. Sameer is a chutbhaiyya neta who learns that morality may after all be a good thing. Anjori is a tycoon8217;s second wife who learns that money is not everything.
Only Aftab doesn8217;t do much learning, because he is the wisest. He gets married to bank excecutive Koel Purie, and becomes a ghost author who writes up autobiographies of brainless page three bimbos in one of the nicest lines of the movie, bimbo tells author: agar kisi ko pata chal gaya toh main seedhe page three se page one pe aa jaoongi! .
It has clearly been shot on a low budget, and has no production values, but it has an interesting storyline it8217;s Vikram Bhatt8217;s, so you wonder where he got it from, and some fairly competent acting. It gets all too much in the end, though: too many people learning lessons. The loose end fritters away the movie8217;s slender advantages.
