An 18-member team of Left Front legislators will visit Nandigram on Wednesday to take stock of the situation in the strife-torn area. CPIM legislator and Left Front chief whip Mohammad Masih will lead the team. Most of the CPIM8217;s allies have been critical of the way the party8217;s armed cadres 8220;recaptured8221; the area after a bloody weeklong attack. The team is scheduled to visit Satengabari, Adhikaripara and Sonachura, all former strongholds of the Bhumi Uchched Protirodh Committee BUPC. These areas were the special targets of the CPIM cadres, where houses of BUPC supporters were allegedly destroyed and looted. Masih said there was no differences within the Left Front regarding Nandigram. Biman Bose and Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee will also visit Nandigram and address a rally on December 26.
