Leander Paes crashes out

KEY BISCAYNE, March 22: Indian ace Leander Paes crashed out of the Lipton Tennis Championship with a straight-sets dismissal by seventh-seed Swede Jonas Bjorkman in the second round here yesterday.

The Olympic bronze medallist found a tough opponent in Bjorkman who dropped only seven games for a 6-3 6-4 victory.

However, Paes will team up with Mahesh Bhupathi for the doubles where they have been seeded fourth.
