
PUNE, July 17: For the first time in Maharashtra a law conference is being organised which will bring together members of the judiciary, the police and the public and will aim at making justice simpler for the common person.
The Chief Justice has confirmed his participation in the conference which will be organised by the Pune Bar Association on September 12 and 13.
Preparations are on to put together a souvenir, a law book, which will contain articles on legal provisions which the public is not necessarily aware of role of the police and advocates in the administration of justice.
8220;Speedy and just trials involve all, right from the client to the advocate, and we hope that the conference will help us take a step in this direction,8221; says Sureshchandra Bhosale, President of the Pune Bar Council.
