Railways Minister and RJD supremo Laloo Prasad Yadav moved a special CBI court here today, seeking to be discharged in the multi-crore fodder scam case, claiming that the CBI had chargesheeted him without proper sanction for prosecution. In the discharge petition, likely to come up for hearing on February 22, Laloo has accused the CBI of double standards, saying , ‘‘As I was a member of the Legislative Assembly and then of Parliament, the sanction for prosecution should have been obtained from the presiding officers of the two houses, which was done in the case of other MLAs and MPs (who were) made accused in the case.’’
