Chairman of the national selection committee, Syed kirmani, today advocated selection of 24 probables instead of 20 for the Asia Cup camp, so that the bowlers in the reckoning could prove their mettle.

Kirmani said that his proposal to increase the number of probables was to give less workload to pacers and prevent chances of injuries before the tournament in Sri Lanka. (PTI)
