PATIALA, April 28: The case pertaining to the alleged disappearance and liquidation of human rights activist Jaswant Singh Khalra has been committed to the sessions court. The next hearing in the case will be on May 9. The case was committed to the sessions court by the special magistrate Amarjit Singh at a hearing in the CBI courts here today.
Policemen in large numbers were deployed outside the court premises in view of the security threats received by counsel for the complainant Brijender Singh Sodhi. All the accused except DSP Jaspal Singh were present. Sodhi, however, rued that the local police had not registered any case in spite of his reporting the matter to them.
