mumbai, NOV 3: Three goals by left-winger Amol Khaire were the highlights of Rhino Sports Club8217;s 5-0 victory over ten-men Tata Electric in the MDFA Harwood Super league football match at the St Xavier8217;s ground, Parel, today.

With this triumph, Rhino displaced league leaders Chembur English and moved to the top rung with 13 points. Rhino, however, finished their engagements while Chembur English have a game still in hand. The other team in the fray for the title are Holy Family, who have two more games left, and can displace both Rhino and Chembur English, if they win both their remaining games.

The decision as to the outcome of the Holy Family-Central Railway Parel Workshop match, which was not played yesterday after the railwaymen failed to turn up, has still not been taken by the Organising Committee.

During the first half, Electric were well-served by stoppers Clarence Roberts and Sohal Singh and goalkeeper Pramod Shreedaran. The last-named player brought off three good saves.

However, Rhinowrapped up the match with three goals in five minutes, three minutes into the second-half. Khaire struck twice and central striker Noel Fernandes once. Khaire netted one more before stopper Prabhodh Salvi round-off the tally with a 40-yard shot to the roof of the net.
