While daring Chief Minister A.K. Antony to ensure the victory of the UDF candidate in the Tiruvalla Assembly by-election, KPCC president K. Muraleedharan on Saturday said that his father and senior Congress leader K. Karunakaran would soon float a secular democratic front as he did not expect any justice from the Congress high command.

Addressing a public meeting at Pettah, Muraleedharan said Antony would have to

face the music after December 4.

Hinting at the 8216;I8217; group effort to defeat the UDF candidate in the Tiruvalla by-election, he said he would be delighted to know how Antony would react to the 8216;8216;Tiruvalla debacle8217;8217;.

Muraleedharan also told the gathering, most of them from the CPM, that Karunakaran had taken a political decision and he would go on fighting till the end. 8216;8216;We do not need the people who set agendas and conditions. Karunakaran is following the political stance of the Congress high command. And who could challenge him ? Sooner or later Sonia Gandhi would realise that there is no future for the Congress without Karunakaran,8217;8217; he said.

Referring to Speaker Vakkom Purushothaman8217;s disclosure that six MLAs from the 8216;I8217; faction would switch over to the 8216;A8217; camp, he said that a person like Vakkom would go to any extent to salvage the image of the Antony government for personal gains.
