Kaafila

A posse of sub-continental hopefuls, mostly Indians, and a handful of Pakistanis, pledge their life savings into an illegal passage to the UK. Of course, the agent turns out to be a cook, and their journey becomes a hazardous, death-filled trek, across mountains in Russia, and ports in Turkey, and jungles in between.

Mann8217;s movie is more cartoon strip than anything else in the way it is loud and clicheacute; filled. Not even Sunny Deol, who shows up in the second half, in knock-off Ray-bans and army fatigues, promising those still hoping to get to merry England, a way back home, can do anything to make the film sittable-through.
