NEW DELHI, January 22: The BJP8217;s high-profile candidate Jagmohan and six independents today filed their nominations for the February 16 Lok Sabha elections in Delhi.

With this the total number of nominations in the Capital has reached 11.More than a 100 supporters accompanied him to the office of the Deputy Commissioner, New Delhi, Satya Gopal in the morning today. Also with him were Ram Bhaj, Jagdish Batra and Kirti Azad. While Jagmohan himself left after the subdued affair, Ram Bhaj said that he was confident that they will win quot;comfortably no matter who the Congress candidate is.quot;

Deputy Commissioner Satya Gopal giving details of the poll arrangements in the constituency said that there will be 540 polling booths. A major problem in the area is the violation of Election Commission directives on campaign posters and vehicles. This is because most of the MPs stay in the constituency.

quot;People will have to come and complain to the returning officer about such posters. Strict action will be taken against those who have put up the posters and they may even be penalised.quot;
