Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty is all set to come face-to-face again with her former tormentor Jade Goody, who sparked a racism row during their stint in Big Brother, as the British celebrity will now be part of the Indian version of the reality show.

Goody, 27, who became a national villain after she targeted Shetty with racist taunts and earned the Bollywood star a fan following across two continents, is reportedly being paid 100,000 pounds to take part in the show called Big Boss. Shetty will be anchoring the show.

8220;For Jade, it8217;s a chance to show that she is not a racist,8221; a source close to her was quoted as saying by British media. Goody8217;s bullying of Shetty led to more than 50,000 complaints to television watchdog Ofcom and the British leadership, including Gordon Brown, who was then the Chancellor, was forced to defend the country as a land 8220;of fairness and tolerance8221;.

Meanwhile, a Sessions court in Mumbai on Thursday dismissed actor Faizal Khan8217;s application seeking a stay on telecast of Big Boss. Faizal had said the show should not be telecast as his contract was illegally terminated at the last moment on the grounds that he was mentally unsound. The court refused to grant Faizal relief observing that the stay could be granted only if the applicant suffered an irreparable loss.
