The Indian cricketers have wished their Pakistani counterparts Eid mubarak and will now get busy with another day8217;s work. While Inzamam-ul Haq and his team have taken a two-day break for the festive occasion, for Indians it8217;ll be business even as Lahore gears up to make this day worth the occasion.

Pakistan team members will not wear their whites in the two days of leave but are staying in Lahore to avoid any hectic travelling, with the match scheduled to begin this Friday. Therefore, family members of the players, from various parts of Pakistan have joined them in Lahore to celebrate Eid-ul-Azha.

8216;8216;The occasion comes only once in a year, therefore, the boys have been given the off,8217;8217; says Inzamam who was running a fever, but is still concerned that the focus might be lost from the game.

For the ordinary Indian travelling to Pakistan this time, 2004 is nostalgic. And therefore, it is surprising that Eid dawats haven8217;t come calling from the neighbours yet as compared to the reception that the Indians received in 2004. Even before somebody could tell where 8216;Anarkali8217; in Lahore is, an Indian was already there feasting on the irresistible biryaniI. Such was the bonhomie that made the last series so memorable.

There were ladies 8212; their heads covered 8212; serving sherbat, and gentlemen 8212; lazily passing on their smoking pipes and discussing India in the only way they knew it, who gave the Indians the reception of a lifetime.

Irfan, Zaheer and Jaffer will be offering their prayers together at the team hotel before leaving for their daily net session at 2 pm.
