SAS NAGAR, NOV 17: The National Integration Youth Camp at Anandpur Sahib will be inaugurated by Harbhajan Singh Yogi tomorrow.

A spokesman of the youth camp said some 5000 young people are expected to participate in the camp from about 30 states and also from Bangladesh, Nepal and United States.

Punjab Education Minister Tota Singh will preside over the function, while Jathedar of Takh Shri Kesgarh Sahib Prof Manjit Singh and Punjab School Education Board vice-chairman Gurdev Singh Sidhu will grace the occasion.

National Youth Project Director Dr S.N.Subarao said that during the camp, the youth would undertake kar seva in and around Anandpur Sahib. This would comprise of tree plantation as the youth from other states would bring their own specimen saplings for plantation, construction of trails, renovation of pounds and construction of earthen dams.He said that Punjabi language and folk dances Bhangra and Gidda would be taught to youth of other states while youth of Punjab could learn languages of other states.
