Indica unveiled in city

CHANDIGARH, JAN 22: With a day to go for the closing of the booking of the latest car to hit Indian roads8211; Indica, nearly 2,500 bookings have already been made for the 1,400 cc car introduced by Telco.

The dealers of Indica, who unveiled the car here today, said that it has a capacity of 37 litres and it will roll out by the end of February. The car is available in both petrol and diesel versions and offers three variants in the diesel category: Standard, AC and Deluxe, they said.

Of the 2,500 cars booked so far, the diesel AC version has received maximum bookings of 82.1 per cent, followed by 10.4 per cent of Deluxe version, 5.6 per cent of the Standard model. However, the petrol version has received a mere 1.9 per cent bookings.
