NEW DELHI, November 3: India's first `barrier-free', eco-friendly and user-friendly building for the disabled, which will house the office of Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI), is to come up in South Delhi.The foundation stone for the proposed building will be laid by the Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment, Maneka Gandhi, at a function at the Qutab Institutional Area on November 5, an official release said today.The building, to be called the RCI House, will be equipped with a convention centre, simultaneous translation facility, documentation centre, guest house, cafeteria and other facilities.
