
Indian top order came up with solid batting performance as three of them hit centuries. The visitors finished with 365-2 at stumps on the second day of their three-day match against the Zimbabwe Board XI who had declared their first innings at 294-9.
Openers Virender Sehwag 122 and Gautam Gambir 126 put on 196 for the first wicket which was boosted further by a sedate unbeaten 102 from Rahul Dravid, who had VVS Laxman 9 for company.
Earlier Zimbabwe Board XI added another 29 runs from nine-odd overs before declaring. Anil Kumble finished with figures of 5-48.
