JALANDHAR, Feb 8: The Indian and West Indies veterans’ cricket teams arrived here this evening hoping that some crowd would come to watch the teams play the second match of the World Masters cricket series at Burlton Park tomorrow.

The captain of Indian veterans, Sandeep Patil was candid enough to admit that it was unfortunate that the teams playing in the series were not getting any crowds to see them play. He referred in this context the poor crowd response to the first match of the series played between India and Sri Lanka at SAS Nagar which Sri Lankans won.

Patil said, “it is important for us to win tomorrow to remain in contention for the finals. We will go all out to win the match”. Patil also lauded the stupendous performance by Anil Kumble in wrapping up all ten Pakistani wickets in Delhi Test.
