Indian junior girls showed nerve of steel to pull off a thrilling 3-2 upset over Chinese Taipei and storm into the semi-final of the Asian Junior Table Tennis championship in Kitakyushu, Japan.

Shamini Kumaresan and Delhi’s Neha Aggarwal were the architects of the Indian victory. This win has not only ensured their maiden semi-final appearance but also earned them a spot for the World Junior TT in Cairo. India will play China tomorrow for a place in the finals.
