LUCKNOW, FEB 8: Indian eves lifted the Coca Cola Trophy by sweeping Sri Lanka in the seven match One-day series. Put into bat in the last match of the series played at the KD Singh Babu Stadium here today, India put on 185 runs for the opening wicket. Mithali Raj, who came in for regular opener skipper Chandrakanta, scored 101 off 108 balls, with seven boundaries and one six. She was declared retired out. The other opener Anju Jain hit 89, as India piled up 297 in the stipulated 50 overs. Sri Lanka could manage only 112 for eight, their highest total of the series, in 50 overs. Indian skipper Chandrakanta was declared all-rounder of the series.
