India to play 8s cricket tourney

Mumbai, June 26: India will send an eight-member team sans Sachin Tendulkar and Saurav Ganguly for the super-eight championship to be played at Kuala Lumpur on July 17, 18 and 19. Pakistan, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa will be the other participants.

Tendulkar and Ganguly will miss the match as during that period both will be playing for the World XI in a match in the memory of late Princess Diana. The proceeds will go to charity.
