BANGALORE: The International Cricket Council (ICC) would not allow any One-Day Internationals to be played anywhere around the world during the two-and-a-month to three-month period which it proposes to set aside for conducting a World Test Cricket Championship, according to ICC chief Jagmohan Dalmiya.

MUMBAI: SK Bansal and AV Jayaprakash will officiate in the first of the triangular One-Day Internationals between hosts India and Australia to be held at Kochi on April 1.

NEW DELHI: Doordarshan will telecast live all the One Day International cricket matches of the India, Australia, Zimbabwe triangular series to be played between April 1-14. Highlights of the day’s play will be telecast between 0845-1700 hours.

Indian judo team

NEW DELHI: A 12-member Indian team, including five women, will represent the country in the 7th Commonwealth Judo Championship starting in Edinburgh today.

The team: Men: Veerpal Singh (56 kg), Narinder Singh (60 kg), Prashant Verma (66 kg), Najib Aga (73 kg), Yashpal Solanki (81 kg), Virender Singh (90 kg) and Satish Yadav (100kg). Women: Rashmi Rani (44 kg), Kamla Rawat (48 kg), Aarti Kohli (63 kg), Jagjit Kaur (70 kg), Babita Negi (70 kg).
