KSCA polls on Oct 17

BANGALORE: The much delayed elections to the Karnataka State Cricket Association would be conducted by the Registrar of Societies on October 17. This was stated by Ravikumar, IAS, IG of Registration and Commissioner of Stamps in Karnataka in charge of all the Registrars.

NEW DELHI: After a gap of 38 years, a school from Delhi won the Subroto Mukherjee Cup Football Tournament for juniors when Mamta Modern High School Vikaspuri beat Christ Collegiate School Orissa 5-3 via tie-breaker in the final at Ambedkar Stadium here today. Superb goalkeeping by Arjun Singh enabled Mamta Modern win the final in penalty shootout agter both teams were tied 1-1 at regulation and extra time.
