Dental check-up camp organised
A dental check up camp was organised by the Rotary and Inner Wheel Chandigarh Central today at the Haryana Roadways Workshop in Industrial Area, Phase-I, here today. About 300 employees of Haryana Roadways were examined by Dr R.P. Gupta and his team of doctors comprising Dr Rachna Pall, Dr Ashish Gupta, Dr Sheba Mohindru and Dr Mohit. Earlier, Dr Parveen Kumar, general manager, Haryana Roadways, Chandigarh, inaugurated the camp.

NSUI submits memo
The Chandigarh unit of National Students Union of India today submitted a memorandum to the Punjab University officials listing the problems being faced by students of the Department of Science. In a joint press statement, the state president, H.S. Lucky, and the out-going president of the Punjab University Campus Students Council PUCSC, Munish Anand stated that the time limit for improvement in examinations should be three years after the passing of the final year of B.Sc Honours, and that improvement examinations should be conducted twice a year.

Career exhibition
A career exhibition quot;Career 98quot; will be inaugurated at the Lala Lajpat Rai Bhawan tomorrow. According to a press statement issued by Rahul Parashar, of Creative Insight Promoters CIP, the exhibition includes stalls by prominent companies like NIIT, Hartron, TULEC, and Lotus Learning. The three-day fair will continue from 9 am to 5 pm.
