CALCUTTA, NOV 6: The 103rd IFA Shield appears to be going the Calcutta Football League way with the organisers postponing tomorrow8217;s matches between Churchill Brothers and Railway FC, Mohun Bagan and Mohameddan Sporting.

Already facing a financial crunch, Indian Football Association IFA is reported to have served a legal notice to the state sports department for not allowing them to use the Salt Lake Stadium. The Stadium authorities might have had a proper reason in doing so as the Asia Cup Winner8217;s Cup second round match between Kawasaki Verde and East Bengal is scheduled for Saturday. The Japanese side has already arrived in the city and had a light work out today.

IFA8217;s legal notice is said to have peeved the state sports officials who were caught unawares by the football body8217;s move.
