KOZHIKODE, March 26: National under-14 champion CV Rajalakshmi of Tamil Nadu stole the limelight with 4.5 points at the end of the fifth round of the 14th National sub-junior girls chess championship being held at the indoor stadium here today.
Rajalakshmi, who leads by half a point, was held to a draw by former National under-10 champion Baisaki Das of West Bengal. On the second board, defending champion JE Kavitha of Tamil Nadu scored a brilliant win over world under-10 champion Koneru Humpy of Andhra Pradesh.
