HUDA issues notices to owners of illegal buildings

PANCHKULA, Oct 6: The Haryana Urban Development Authority HUDA has issued notices to the owners of illegal buildings in the Rally Village in Sector 12 A, here. There are buildings which are even three-storeyed and the notices have been served following a complaint made by some resident.

A demarcation was done under the supervision of the District Revenue Officer DRO on 7.12.98 and 37 buildings over an area of four acres were found illegal. The notices have been issued under Section 18 2 of the HUDA Act and the people who have been served the notices have been given a time period of 30 days to give a clarification or else appropriate action will be taken by HUDA.
