CHENNAI, June 17: Despite the TN Government8217;s belated attempts at curbing the skyrocketting vegetable prices, many a hotel in the city is opting for the quot;cheaperquot; vegetables like brinjal, beetroot and radish in preference to the costly carrots, beans and tomatoes, on the daily menu. Hoteliers say the vegetable bills have gone up 150, while customers go away dissatisfied, saying the hotel meals were quot;not what they used to bequot;.
