A hitman raised as an assassin, who goes around the world killing people, for clients who communicate via computer. Till one day he is ordered to target the Russian President, and true to form for all things that are Russian in Hollywood, life is never the same again for 8220;Agent 478221; Olyphant.
Don8217;t try to understand the story, don8217;t look for logic 8212; for example, Agent 47 doesn8217;t have a name but the tattooed bar code on the back of his shaved head screams for attention 8212; don8217;t see more into the characters than there actually is, and you might even enjoy this no-frills action thriller based on a video game. It8217;s pure adrenalin, pure shooting, pure violence, pure action and pure shiny-pate Olyphant.
Kurylenko too holds up her end of the bargain as the prostitute kept by the Russian President who wears minimal clothes, speaks surprisingly good English and is the only one who melts Agent 478217;s heart.
Gens knows his audience and sticks to the agenda. In that respect, Hitman is bang on target. The others may be better off standing a safe distance away.
