CHANDIGARH, Feb 16: Harvinder Pal will lead a 19-member Chandigarh under-21 team in the 8th National football championship for M Dutta Roy Trophy to be held at Nimbahera Rajasthan from February 20, according to Rakesh Bakshi, secretary of the Chandigarh Football Association.
Team: Navjot Singh, Jasmeet Singh, Jasbir, Sachin, Mandeep Singh, Sohan Singh, Brijesh, Rakesh Kumar, Gurminder Singh, Shiv Shambu, Jatinder Singh, Davee Bali, Amit, Vishal, Munish, Ajay, Mohan Singh, Gurpreet Singh Bedi and Sanjeev Kumar.
Harjinder Singh and Surinder Singh will accompany the team as coach and manager respectively.
Athletics trials
Trials to select Chandigarh veteran athletics team in men and women sections will be held at Panjab University Campus on February 21 at 10 a.m.
Entries close on February 20, with Charanpreet Verma, secretary, Veteran Athletic Association of Chandigarh.
The first North Zone athletic meet will also be held at PU Campus from March 5 to 7.
During the meet, North Zone team would be selected to take part in the national meet to be held at Ahmedabad in April.

Hockey trials
The Chandigarh Hockey Association will conduct trials to select probables for the forthcoming Senior National Hockey Championship to be held in Hyderabad from Mawrch 11 to 25. According to S N Vohra, secretary of the Chandigarh Hockey Association, the trials will be held on February 19 at the Sector 42 Hockey Stadium at 3 p.m.
The selected players will attend a coaching camp from February 20.
