Bangladeshi writer Taslima Nasreen was in for a surprise when Mahatma Gandhi8217;s granddaughter Tara Gandhi Bhattacharjee walked in to express solidarity with her at Rajasthan House in Delhi on Saturday. As Bhattacharjee stayed for over half an hour and showed no signs of leaving, Nasreen turned the volume knob on the TV set a knotch higher. Bhattacharjee then presented her with a purse and requested her for a photograph alongside her8212;with a mobile camera phone. A visibly exasperated Nasreen got only more irritated as she was busy reaching out to top Congress leaders, including Pranab Mukherjee, on the phone in a bid to get some sense of what was going to happen to her stay in India.
