NEW DELHI, Nov 29: Eminent diplomat P.N. Haksar, who died here Friday night, was cremated today with a large number of dignitaries, including Congress President Sonia Gandhi, attending the funeral.

Haksar8217;s daughters Anamika and Nandita lit the pyre at the Lodi Road crematorium. Others who attended the funeral included Jamp;K CM Dr Farooq Abdullah, former finance minister Manmohan Singh, Election Commissioner GVG Krishnamurty and DPCC president Sheila Dikshit.
