GANDHINAGAR, May 2: The Gujarat Chief Minister Keshubhai Patel has announced a 15-point action plan to revive the state’s economy. As per the plan, the state government would interact with banks to accelerate the credit flow to various economic sectors in a bid to stimulate investment and move economy to a path of high growth.
Speaking at the Gujarat day celebrations here yesterday, Patel said the plan was chalked out in view of severe recession world over, which had its impact on Indian economy. An expert group would be constituted to make in-depth studies and suggest a perspective plan for the rejuvenation of the agriculture sector in the state. An effective and well-coordinated action plan for the ensuing kharif season with a target of ten per cent growth in production would also get a kick-start.
