Green light for LPG project

AHMEDABAD, June 2: The Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation AMC has, in principle, approved a mega cooking gas supply project to be undertaken by Adani Industries Limited. Under the project, the company will lay cooking gas pipeline from Vadodara to Mehsana in the next three years.

The project, estimated to cost over Rs 475 crore, will cover Vadodara, Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, Mehsana and adjacent areas to begin with. The company has signed a memorandum of understanding MoU with Petronet LNG, who will import liquefied petroleum gas LPG from Dahej Port and supply Adani Industries at Vadodara.
