Zimbabwe to tour Windies

BRIDGETOWN: The West Indies will play a cricket series against Zimbabwe in March-May next year in the Caribbean, the first meeting between the teams since Zimbabwe gained full Test status in 1992. Zimbabwe will play two Tests and participate in a triangular one-day international series with the West Indies and Pakistan.

Ranatunga back

COLOMBO: Arjuna Ranatunga has been allowed to practise with the National squad again after a short ban following an unauthorised visit to Canada, cricket board officials said today. Ranatunga was banned from practice after he travelled Toronto for an exhibition match last weekend.
