Metro, which has built its wholesale outlet on the Eastern Bypass, first got its licence in 2005 from Agricultural Produce Marketing Corporation APMC and had it renewed in 2006 and 2007. Dey, however, said the decision on the licence would be decided at the bipartite meet between CPM and Forward Bloc to be held on September 28. CPM is in favour of the company carrying out its operations in the state.
