MUMBAI, OCT 2: On the occasion of the 130th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, veteran Gandhian and Chairperson of Gandhi Samarak Nidhi Usha Mehta led a prayer meeting at Mani Bhavan on Saturday. As part of the week-long Gandhi Jayanti celebrations, a documentary film on Mahatma Gandhi will be screened at Mani Bhavan from October 2 to 8 at 6 pm.

The Gandhi Jayanti week was inaugurated with spinning the charka on Saturday morning. State Governor Dr PC Alexander garlanded a statue of the Mahatma at the Mantralaya garden.
