
The government on Friday issued orders transferring four joint secretaries in the Finance Ministry; Ajit Mohan Sharan, Prashant Mehta, Pravin Kumar and Usha Mathur.
Sharan, joint secretary, Banking and Insurance is being sent back to his parent cadre, Haryana. Only last week he was appointed on the board of Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority as part-time member.
Prashant Mehta, joint secretary in the Revenue Department of Finance Ministry, has been transferred to Ministry of Mines as joint secretary. Two other joint secretaries; Navin Kumar in the Economic Affairs department, and Usha Mathur in the Expenditure Department, have also been transferred.
