MUMBAI, JANUARY 15: The country’s foreign exchange reserves rose by $178 million to $35.113 billion on January 7 from $34.935 billion in the previous week, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) said in its weekly statistical supplement on Saturday. Loans and advances by the RBI to the central government rose to Rs 6,969 crore in the week ended December 31.
