Forest Treasure for Maharaja8217;s

September 9: Robert Foley trained Forest Treasure who is nicely placed in the scales, has an excellent chance of winning the 1600 metres Maharaja8217;s Gold Cup, a race for horses rated 40 and above, the feature event of the races programmed for Friday.

The Steinbeck-Camineto four-year old filly Forest Treasure has been showing out in the work-outs and had the feel of the track in a mock race. Forest Treasure who had won the Deccan Derby last year, has not done anything of note thereafter but considering the poor quality of the opposition that this talented filly is taking on, she should win unextended. The unpredictable Armoury is capable of causing an upset. Ride To Riches, Sun Worship and Imperial Leader should fight out for minor placings.
