A travelling festival to bring poetry films to Chandigarh

Think films, and it8217;s either fiction or non fiction. But this is not the case with Sadho. Their mission is to take great 8216;poetry to people8217; through the innovative use of arts, media and social action, in the form of a rare third genre of cinema, poetry films. And their next stop is none other than Chandigarh. As a part of its travelling festival, Sadho will bring about 25 to 30 of its selected 85 films to the city. These will be presented at two screenings on October 4 and 5. Interesting, The curator of film fest, Jitendra Ramprakash, hails from Chandigarh. The screenings will also include a film by Amtojh Sandhu, a filmmaker-photographer-painter, from the city. Now based in London, her film 8220;Ya Devi 8211; The Goddess8221; will be showcased.
