CHANDIGARH, Nov 18: Nitin Dutt speaks about his life through the canvases, rather they are footprints from his diary. Though a major portion of the present display at the Government Museum has the rawness of an art student in plenty, the series on creation is enough to convey the vast potential in this post graduation student of Fine Arts at the Benaras Hindu University.
Nitin8217;s maturity is commendable as he depicts the chronology of copulation, introspection, creation and contemplation in hues and shades that are difficult to be taken off the mind. Nitin8217;s colour composition and innovative mind could provide eternity to the depicted theme of life8217;s continuity.
Nitin8217;s men in the other canvases have a duality in them, between man and beast, between good and evil, between the celestial and the materialistic. He provides a logical conclusion in the hydra-headed existence but this series lacks in aesthetic appeal though heavy thematically.
