As many as three cases of brawl were reported from the city on Diwali. In the first incident, two persons were arrested after they allegedly barged into a house in Manimajra and broke the window panes. The accused — Deepak from Sector 26 and Karan from Shastri Colony — allegedly attacked a vehicle and broke its window panes. A case under Sections 451, 323, 332, 353, 427 and 506 was registered with the Manimajra police station.In another case, three persons were arrested following a brawl that occured in Indira Colony on the night of Diwali. The accused — Lucky, Sonu and Lakhan — were arrested for threatening and quarreling with the complainant.In the third incident, four persons allegedly beat up two men in Colony number 4 on the same night. The victims, Ravi and Guddu, registered a case against the four accused — Rakesh, Rama, Lala and Guru. No arrest was made till the time of filing the report.Eight cases of burns reported on DiwaliAMBALA: As many as eight cases of burns were reported from the twin cities of Ambala on Diwali night. While a resident of Shivaji Colony, Ambala Cantonment, Navin Kumar, was injured after a firecracker blasted near his ear, two boys from Premnagar — Prince and Lovely — sustained burns on their faces. The others who sustained injuries in Ambala City include: Anil, Rajesh, Abhishek, Honey, Shubham, Monica and Aryan. The injured were rushed to the civil hospital where they were discharged after being administered first aid.
