PUNE, April 27: Defence minister George Fernandes is scheduled to visit the Red Zone area near Bhosari in Pimpri-Chinchwad on May 2 to discuss the civic problems of the residents there.
Fernandes will meet the residents and later have discussions at PCMC headquarters on defence land and the issues related to his ministry.
On May 1, he will visit Armament Research and Development Establishment. On May 2, he will attend the golden jubilee celebrations of Armed Forces Medical College and visit Southern Command headquarters. He will address a sainik sammelan at Pune Sub Area grounds and IAF station Lohegaon.
