Lucknow, Feb 10: Gregory Carraz of France, who on the first day outplayed top seed Marcos Undruska, was today ousted by Andrei Stoliarov of Russia in the $50,000 ATP Challenger tennis tournament. Also eliminated from the scene was 5th seed Eyal Ran but Mose Vanarra (No 4) won his singles match at the Oudh Gymkhana club here. Amir Hadad (Israel) also advanced, beating Oscar Burrieza (Spain) 6-4 4-6 6-4. Seventh seed Peter Tramacchi of Australia bowed out, losing to Noam Behr of Israel 6-4 7-6 (7-3). Ota Fukarek of Czezh won against Carrasco of Spain 6-4 6-2. Oren Motevassel beat Igor Gaudi 6-4 6-4 while Wesley Whitehouse beat Thomas Ketola 6-4 6-3.

In the doubles events, Marcus Hilpert & Syed Fazaluddin went down 6-3 6-2 to Nuno Marques and Tom Van Houdt. Barry Cowan and Wesley Whitehouse gave way to Noam Okum and Nir Welgreen 6-3 6-7 7-6. Marcos Ondruska and Andrew Richardson beat Noam Behr and Eyal Ran 6-1 7-6 7-2. The curtailed doubles match between Emanuel Couto-Joao Cunha Silva against JuanCarrasco-Jairo Velasco will be resumed tomorrow.y
