Panaji, March 25: Elf Lubricants from Mumbai became the first team in Group B to qualify for the semi-finals when it defeated Mumbai’s Sungrace Sports Club by one wicket in a pulsating match in the 23rd All-India Arlem Trophy invitation cricket tournament here today. It was Elf’s second consecutive win, and they play their last league match against Indian Overseas Bank (IOB) tomorrow.

In other matches, IOB, Chennai and All-India Associated Bank scored comfortable three-wicket and 99 run victories respectively over Indian Petroleum Corporation Limited (IPCL), Baroda and hosts Gomantak Times, Goa. The host team is out of the race having lost both their matches.
